1. About Landfall Legacy

Landfall Legacy is a community entertainment service built around a Discord bot and web dashboard. Features may include progression, virtual currencies, collectibles, inventories, crafting, cases, containers, seasonal content, statistics and community features.

2. Acceptance and Eligibility

By using Landfall Legacy, you agree to these Terms and to comply with applicable laws and the rules of third-party services you use with Landfall, including Discord and Steam where applicable. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must meet the minimum age and other eligibility requirements of Discord, Steam and applicable law for the services you use.

3. Accounts and Authentication

Landfall may associate your account and progress with your Discord user ID. You are responsible for keeping your Discord and other connected accounts secure. You may not access, impersonate, manipulate or attempt to use another person's Landfall account.

4. Virtual Items and Currencies

Landfall contains virtual currencies, items, collectibles, crafting resources and other game content. These are features of the Landfall service and are not bank deposits, cryptocurrency, securities, investments or financial accounts.

Landfall may rebalance, modify, add, remove, reset or correct virtual balances, items, recipes, rewards, drop rates and other economy values when reasonably necessary for development, balance, security or correction of errors.

5. Steam Item Exchanges

Landfall may permit certain eligible Landfall items or currencies to be exchanged by users for eligible Steam items where Landfall's current rules expressly allow it. Such exchanges are not guaranteed and do not give any Landfall asset a guaranteed monetary or Steam-market value.

Landfall does not provide automated Steam deposits, withdrawals, cash-outs, market sales or automated Steam trade execution. Any permitted Steam transfer must use Steam's own permitted trading functionality and remains subject to Valve's and Steam's rules, restrictions and availability.

Landfall is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve or Steam.

6. No Gambling or Wagering

Landfall is not intended to provide gambling, betting or wagering services. Users may not wager money, Steam items, Landfall assets that are exchangeable for real-world goods, or anything else of real-world value on an uncertain or randomized outcome through Landfall.

Randomized cases, containers and drops are gameplay reward systems. Landfall does not permit a user to stake or wager money or Steam items to participate in those randomized outcomes.

7. Cases, Containers and Random Rewards

Some gameplay features award randomized virtual rewards. A particular item, rarity or result is not guaranteed unless the feature explicitly states otherwise. Drop tables and probabilities may change as the service is balanced or updated.

8. Trading and User Conduct

Users must not scam, impersonate others, misrepresent trades, exploit another user, evade restrictions or use Landfall to facilitate unlawful transactions. Users are responsible for checking the details of any permitted manual trade before accepting it.

Landfall administrators may restrict or reverse Landfall-side transactions where reasonably necessary to address exploits, fraud, technical errors or unauthorized activity. Landfall cannot reverse transactions controlled solely by a third-party platform such as Steam.

9. Bugs, Exploits and Automation

You may not intentionally exploit bugs, duplicate items, generate unauthorized currency, bypass cooldowns or restrictions, tamper with requests, automate gameplay or dashboard actions without authorization, scrape protected account data, or interfere with Landfall's infrastructure.

Progress, items or currency created through bugs, exploits or technical errors may be corrected or removed.

10. Suspension and Termination

Landfall may restrict, suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or community, enforce these Terms, respond to abuse or fraud, or comply with legal or platform requirements.

11. Service Availability

Landfall is an evolving project. Features may change, break, be unavailable or be discontinued. While reasonable care may be taken to preserve data, uninterrupted operation and permanent preservation of all virtual progress cannot be guaranteed.

12. Third-Party Services

Discord, Steam and other third-party services are operated independently. Their own terms, privacy policies and technical restrictions apply. Landfall is not responsible for third-party outages, account actions, trade restrictions, marketplace changes or other decisions made by those services.

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as Landfall changes. Material changes should be reflected by updating the date shown on this page. Continued use after an update means the new Terms apply to future use, subject to rights you may have under applicable law.
